I am still working on getting the brakes working right on the Cobra.  The left front caliper is sticking so I ordered new ones from Advance Auto hoping they will have the correct COBRA logo stamped on them.  They couldn’t tell me for sure if they would or not.  If they don’t, I will not purchase them and I will have to get the correct units from RockAuto.com even though it will be a pain to pay core charge and have to send the cores back on my dime.  I am just hoping that the disc isn’t warped from the light scraping from the last hundred miles.

Ordering new calipers from Advance will NOT get you the correct ones with COBRA stamped on them.  From what I understand, there are actually three, yes THREE ways these calipers come.  Blank, raised letters or recessed letters like I have shown above.  I read on Corral.net that people have good luck with Autozone calipers having the stamping on it so I will give that a try.  It doesn’t cost me anything to order and open the box to look since I can just return it right there.  Ordered on 9/16/2015 and they will be in tomorrow.

Update 2:

I struck out at Autozone as well.  I spent my lunch hour driving clear across town only to find that this one was blank also.
