The Story:
This seems like an odd choice for a car guy like myself, but living where I do I needed something that I could drive daily all year round AND get good fuel economy. The AWD Rav4 fits the bill with 30mpg highway and 23 in town. I average 28mpg with combination driving, which I am very happy with. Toyota has a reputation for dependability and I really wanted that. Not that I am tired of working on cars but it is nice to know that I can just get in and go without worries.
As of 11/2023, the Rav4 has 123k miles on it and has not had any repairs aside from general maintenance of fluids, brakes, and serpentine belt. It still gets detailed weekly from spring to fall.
