I am planning on replacing the front bumper fillers on the Regal. They are really brittle and looking quite perished. The passenger side already has a hole in it and is cracked to heck. It’s only a matter of time.
I have been researching and it seems you get what you pay for. I have decided to get the best set out there and then have it sprayed 079 garnet red metallic by a local shop. If I bought a lesser fiberglass set I would have many hours of body shop work involved just to make sure fit and smoothness are there. I would much rather start out with a design that is well made and ready to spray out of the box while also having a good shot at it fitting without much fuss. Expensive pieces but in the end I would rather pay up front and have it done right rather than learning an expensive lesson trying to cut corners.
I will be writing up a how-to article once I get these back from the paint shop.
